In this 90-minute class learn the difference between a stock and a bond, what mutual funds and ETFs are, discover how advisors are paid, how fees affect you, and recognize common investment mistakes. This informative class should give you the working knowledge to understand your investments.

Financial Planning 101
In this 5-week comprehensive course, explore the basics of a sound financial plan. Visiting experts will offer varying and un-biased strategies on investing, taxes, and insurance. You will also be given the tools and the private time to analyze what you currently have, ask questions in a safe environment, and discover any gaps in your planning. This is your time to develop critical thinking skills so that you can be a more informed consumer and have advanced conversations with your advisors.

Retirement Topics
In this class we look at many aspects that we face in retirement. Whether you are in retirement or wanting to make sure that your retirement plan is on track, this is a good class for you.
3 Weeks. If you are in, or nearing retirement and worried about running out of money, this class covers income producing investments, safe-spend down, and pension and social security options. We will work through case studies so that you can understand practical applications. An estate-planning attorney will help you understand your will and trusts, and teach you the roles and liabilities of the people named in a trust. An Elder Care expert will talk about the costs and resources for taking care of elders and strategies that you may be able to use to protect your life savings.

Proficient Investor
This class is for those who would like a more active role in their investment decisions, or for investors who are self-managing. We discuss the current markets, economic headlines, and help you figure what it may mean for you.
3 Weeks. This class is for investors who want to either self-manage their own investments or take a more active role with their advisors. In this class you will be guided on how to write your own investment criteria. Discussions are focused on investment and tax strategies, and current market cycles. This class is by invitation only and Financial Planning 101 is a pre-requisite.
